Due to continuing his academic and professional career in the UK, as well as other personal reasons, our good friend and drummer Andreas Koumis decided to leave the band. He has promised he will continue providing philosophical insight, alcohol and multimedia feedback, the occasional vocal appearance we all grew to admire, but most importantly the inspiration which gave the band most of its drive.
Replacing him was no easy task. After Danny Carrey from Tool, Dave McLaine from Machine Head and that monkey Marcell from Friends politely declined our offer due to scheduling conflicts, we went for Alex Iacovou, drummer of the Larnaca band Ikon. Alex performed a couple of times with us on stage, as well as surviving the brutal drinking/performing tortures Malaktos and I put him through during the infamous United Beer Alliance gig. Check him out on youtube as "Chocoalex".
With all 3 members living in the same country for the first time ever, we are going to take things more intensively and make sure things start happening for the band. Stay tuned for details on our first appearance with our new lineup sometime in July, new material, and some new announcements about the band's future and professional collaborations.
