Hesperus Dimension’s new offering, The Cyclothymic Panopticon, is out now. The music on The Cyclothymic Panopticon

is a mixture of post-black metal with elements of electronic music. Cold, merciless, unforgiving and extremely powerful, The

Cyclothymic Panopticon
is sure to interest fans of DHG, Fleurety, Thorns and Aborym. The album can be purchased from the

Heard about it, bought it, listened to it, liked it

So here is a mini review

As soon as you touch the cd case you know you are up for something else its not one of those cd-r jewel cases with the band name writing on the cd with a whiteboard marker. It's a proper digipack , the art cover is pretty eye striking with a distinctive eye. Inside is a professionally printed booklet which the cover art seems to pickup and continue , although i must admit that i wasn’t expecting the sponsor pop ups on the few pages. To conclude its one of the best digipacks I’ve seen lately after Necrosadist’s latest release and shows that a lot of effort gave been spent on it

As for the musical content itself , I’m biased since i enjoy anything which has double pedal in it, but other then that its a great combination of elements even if they seem far apart, sometimes songs feel like black canvasses with red paint sprayed with a brush, sometimes it flows sometimes its a bash sometimes a saxophone ( i think) sometimes a flat screen Philips( when you listen it makes sense). Also another striking the song is track 6 , which is a song you listen to at 3 am when only the moon illuminates your room. You don’t feel nor pain nor hate you concentrate so much to the song that you actually visualize it. also its a good song to heighten the neco feelings.

I reccomend this releae to everyone, although i know it wont suit the majoritys coffee still a great release
